A three-axis stepper motor drive scheme based on TC78H670FTG design
Attached image:
Description:
This solution is based on a three-axis stepper motor drive board designed for the TC78H670FTG motor drive IC model. Capable of implementing clock input and serial control, with a maximum fine score of 1/128 steps of operation. Equipped with a dual pole stepper motor driver capable of running three 12V voltages simultaneously, suitable for various small automation equipment and instruments.
Features:
The subdivision adjustment setting has two modes: variable mode and fixed mode, which are set by the input status of mode M0-M3 after releasing standby mode.
Variable mode: Variable mode can activate full step resolution and change step resolution during motor operation.
Fixed mode: Fixed mode can be activated and the user can select and continue it while the motor is running.
Application field:
Educational materials, handling devices, plotters, sorting machines.
Main parameters:
Built in dual H-bridge, capable of controlling 3 bipolar stepper motors
Power supply working voltage: 2.5V to 16.0V
Rated output current: 2.0A (maximum)
Low on resistance (high+low side=0.48 Ω (type.)) MOSFET output stage
Allow complete, half, quarter, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/128 steps of operation
Built in induction resistor small current control architecture (advanced current detection system)
Multiple error detection functions (TSD, ISD, OPD, and UVLO)
Error detection (TSD/ISD/OPD) flag output function
Built in VCC regulator for internal circuits
The chopping frequency of the electric motor can be adjusted by external resistance
