The module defaults to the serial port UART mode, which automatically outputs data. When the ps solder joint on the PCB is welded, it is I2C mode.

5. Examples of modules: 

Write registers and configure registers. 

Configure the query mode output, and the main station sends the frame as: A4 06 03 01 AE (hexadecimal 0x01 = query mode output) 

The configuration baud rate is 115200, and the main send frame is: A4 06 01 06 B1 (hexadecimal 0x06 = 115200) 

The module response frame is: A4 06 01 06 B1 is the same as the main station sending frame, indicating that the configuration is successful. 


The configuration emission rate is 0.98, and the main station send frame is: A4 06 07 62 13 (hexadecimal 0x62 = decimal 98)


The module response frame is: A4 06 07 62 13 is the same as the main station sending frame, indicating that the configuration is successful.

Note: It takes more time to set the emissivity.  

Configure the temperature offset +1 degree, and the main station sends the frame as: A4 06 06 6E 1E (hexadecimal 0x6E = decimal 110)


The configuration temperature offset is -1 degree, and the main station sends the frame as: A4 06 06 5A 0A (hexadecimal 0x5A = decimal 90) 

If all configurations need to be saved by power-off, you need to send the power-off-saving instruction A4 06 05 55 04 

Read the register, the main station sends the frame as: A4 03 07 07 B5 

Module response frame: A4 03 07 07 62 0C EB 0C 3F 0E 20 87 

Frame resolution: 

Starting register 07 starts with the transmitt rate register, and the number of registers is 7, that is, 07 08 09 0A 0B 0C 0D The data output of these 7 registers in turn. Launch rate

Serial port data continuous output: 

A. Send reading data frame: Set the starting register and the number of registers. 

B. Set the output mode to continuous output mode, that is, write 1 to the 03 register. Serial port data query output: 

A. Set the output mode to query mode, that is, write 0 to the 03 register. 

    B. Send and read data frames: Set the starting register and the number of registers.

    Note: The output format of the data is determined by the reading data frame. The continuous/query mode is determined by the 03 register. Forehead temperature compensation: 

Changing the 06 register value can compensate for the frontal temperature. If the target measurement value is greater than the target actual value, the register value can be reduced, and vice versa, the register value can be increased.

IIC function: 

This function requires welding PS solder joints. The IIC address is 00 register value, and the default is A4. The IIC rate needs to be less than 400K. 

The number of single write registers of the module is 1. The writing sequence is as follows, which needs to be greater than 4us after sending the device address. 

The module supports multi-restor continuous reading. The reading sequence is as follows, and the delay needs to be 16us after sending the second device address.
